It’s July. It’s hot. And we are in the heart of wedding season which means women need dresses. I am not a dress lover so when can confidently say I have a go-to dress brand, I think it speaks volumes. My first experience with Eliza J was about 3 years ago. I needed a dress for a rehearsal dinner. It was going to be hot, I wanted to look my best and most importantly I wanted to be comfortable. Enter Eliza J. I found a floor-length gown that wasn’t too dressy and of course, not too casual. I loved it, received numerous compliments and was able to wear it to multiple events that summer!
So when the next summer came around and I was needing another ‘wedding dress’ I only looked at Eliza J. Enter this stunning, pink, belted, romantic flowing gown cut from floral chiffon. She’s whimsical, classic, shows off your waist and comfy enough to dance the night away.

Due to the full length of this dress, I chose to go simple on the accessories. My latest obsession is this bracelet (and everything else they make) from Red Giraffe Designs.
RGD is a local Columbus custom-made jewelry store. I have a passion for ‘shopping small’ and supporting local business when at all possible. RGD was started my a young woman who wanted to take charge of her own career, and boy did she! If you’re in the Columbus area, you can watch them make the jewelry right there in one of their three stores. Every piece is truly unique.
Due to the face-framing pleated neckline of the dress, I recommend a statement earring like these chloe+isabel Tassel Earrings. They have just enough gray to coordinate with the dress but keeps a classes refined look.
And to finish off any perfect wedding guest outfit are dancing shoes! I’ve had these Steve Madden wedges for years. Only a couple inches high giving the confidence of heels without the pain. Shop below for similar style.
